History

In 2007 the Morris brothers were playing catch outside the dorm rooms on the Sacramento State campus. They noticed that other students were playing catch outside as well and decided to invite them to play a game at a local park. After the game the two brothers realized that with their love of baseball that they could turn their passion into a potential league.

That summer the brothers worked hard doing research, fundraising, and even investing their own money to start up their first season. In October 2007, the first season started out with two teams, with Donte coaching one team, and Dominic coaching the other team, and the Morris League was born.

Since 2007, the Morris League has had over 8 seasons spanning year round, having teams from Davis and Vallejo Ca, and have had over 500 players play in the Morris League.

The Morris League aspires to expand to different cities and eventually spread the Morris brand all across the world.
